Saltburn by the sea. What an absolute gem! Who knew?! (Probably lots of people haha!) But this was my first time visiting Saltburn and I just absolutely fell in love with it.
I’ve been absolutely loving doing shoots at the beach this year, so when Dave and Megan suggested Saltburn I was totally on board!
I met these guys on the most BEAUTIFUL sunny evening a couple of weeks ago. They also brought along their crazy dog Piper who was just hilarious! Megan’s parents very kindly were on standby to keep an eye on her. This meant we were able to get a nice mix of photos of Dave and Megan both with and without the dog which was perfect!
It was so nice to catch up with these guys since I first met them in Harrogate last year. After such a crazy few months it’s always super lovely to see my couples again! We chatted about upcoming plans for the wedding day in Sawley next year. I totally can’t wait to photograph these guys get married!
Anyway, back to the engagement shoot!
We had a nice wander along the pier, got some photos by the beach huts, with a stroll along the beach to finish off with. Every part of Saltburn was just SO pretty. One thing I loved about this place was just how quiet it was! Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure a chilly evening in October doesn’t compare to the crowds of a hot summer’s day! But nonetheless, it was awesome.
Dave & Megan were amazing to photograph. They brought their wellies with them too so we could get loads of photos of them paddling in the water! It was such good fun to get some photos with Piper as well. Even though all she wanted was to run up and down in the sand, she was very well behaved in posing for the camera when we needed her to!
The countdown has officially begun, and it’s now only a matter of months until Dave & Megan’s wedding. I am SO excited for the big day and I know these guys can’t wait!
