Lynsday & Darren’s big day was my last wedding of this year.

It’s to be expected that if you book a winter wedding, it’s likely that it’ll be chucking it down. Or snowing. Or some other nonsense that the great British weather has to offer. But how lucky were these guys! We had the most glorious sunshine and a beautiful frost on the ground. After weeks and weeks of rain this was just such a treat!

Lyndsay & Darren tied the knot at Harrogate Registry Office with their closest family members. With plans to organise a big party for all their friends and family in 2020, this was a lovely intimate ceremony.

I met Darren & his family on the morning of the wedding and we all waited patiently for the arrival of the bride. When at last Lyndsay pulled up outside the venue, she absolutely took my breath away! Wearing a stunning Vera Wang wedding dress and with the most beautiful flowers from Four Seasons, she was a vision.

After the ‘I do’s’ and a whole load of confetti, we wandered out onto Harrogate’s beautiful Stray to get some photos of the happy couple. All the guests then headed onto the wedding reception which was at the West Park hotel in Harrogate. It’s one of those venues that I’ve heard so many wonderful things about but have never actually been before! At last I could appreciate it in all its glory!

The room was set up beautifully, and after a few drinks the guests were seated for dinner. Darren made a short speech about what an amazing day it had been, and spoke so beautifully about his now wife!

Such a pleasure to photograph such a lovely wedding, and now I get to look forward to the big party in 2020!
