I expected nothing less from Rebecca when she told me she wanted her pregnancy photos by a waterfall!
Having photographed their engagement shoot this time last year, followed by their incredible wedding in August, it’s safe to say I’ve come to know these guys pretty well by now. It’s been an absolute honour to photograph such precious moments in their lives, and with their baby girl due in the next couple of weeks, it doesn’t get more special than that.
Rebecca & Kyle have always been the most amazing people to photograph. They are so natural in front of the camera. They’re not afraid to get their hands dirty. And most importantly, they’re not afraid to jump in rivers.
I met these guys in Malham, thinking it would just be a cheeky 20 minute walk to the beautiful waterfall at Janet’s Foss. After a crazy drive from Harrogate and ONE WHOLE HOUR OF WALKING LATER we were still no closer to finding the bloody thing. Thank goodness the walk was actually half decent and we were able to get some cute snaps en route!
Once we finally arrived, it was just the most perfect backdrop for these guys. I had no doubt in my mind that we’d all end up going for a paddle, just as we’d done for their engagement shoot at Study Royal last July.
I absolutely love photographing these guys! They are just a dream. I’m so excited for them to enter this next exciting chapter in their lives!!
